abstract |
The invention relates to a process for bringing a fluid phase into contact with at least one solid phase in the form of large particles. This method consists in using a plurality of cells 4 carried by a conveyor belt 1 capable of serving as a diffuser for the fluid phase and of retaining the solid phase; the cells are juxtaposed along the longitudinal direction XX 'of the strip 1 and comprise at their base at least one inclined baffle 6. The strip is driven parallel to the direction XX' and the cells are supplied with solid products upstream of that -this. The fluid phase is distributed through the conveyor belt perpendicular to the plane of the belt. The solid product is withdrawn downstream therefrom. The process of the invention makes it possible in particular to carry out heat treatments of solid products, continuously and by means of devices of simple structure; it allows rigorous control of the various operating parameters.
