THIS STATOR IS CHARACTERIZED BY INCLUDING AN EXTERNAL PNEUMATIC SEAL 26 IN THE FORM OF A SERIES OF ARC SEGMENTS 54, AT LEAST ONE OF THESE SEGMENTS HAVING A PASSAGE 108 FOR COOLING AIR WHICH EXTENDS THROUGH THE SEGMENT AND WHICH COMMUNICATES WITH THE CAVITY 42, AND MEANS FOR SUPPORTING THE EXTERNAL PNEUMATIC SEAL 26, THESE MEANS INCLUDING A SUPPORT WHICH EXTENDS TOWARDS THE INSIDE OF THE ENGINE TO BE IN CONTACT WITH THE EXTERNAL PNEUMATIC SEAL, THIS SUPPORT INCLUDING AT LEAST ONE PASSAGE 112 COMMUNICATING WITH PASSAGE 108 IN THE EXTERNAL PNEUMATIC SEAL IN ORDER TO CALIBRATE THE FLOW OF COOLING AIR. |
