THE INVENTION CONCERNS A PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF AN ALLOY POWDER CONTAINING RARE EARTH METALS BY HEATING, IN AN INERT GAS ATMOSPHERE OR VACUUM, OF A MIXTURE CONSTITUTING OF A EARTH METAL OXIDE POWDER RARE, A HARD AND VOLATILE METAL POWDER AT 900-1300C, AND AT LEAST ONE REDUCING AGENT CHOSEN FROM ALKALINE METALS, ALKALINE EARTH METALS, AND THEIR HYDRIDES, AND TREATMENT OF THE REACTIONAL MIXTURE BY A ROUTE PROCESS WET, CHARACTERIZED IN THAT THE MIXTURE CONTAINS AT LEAST ONE CHLORIDE CHOSEN FROM ALKALINE METAL CHLORIDES AND ALKALINE-EARTH METAL CHLORIDES. APPLICATION TO THE PRODUCTION OF MAGNETIC MATERIALS. |
