The lamp has a fairly high power of 1600 to 2000 W and a defined Br / I ratio of 1.5 to 4. In an apparatus comprising a revolving symmetry concave reflector 30 and a screen 34, a lamp arranged transversely 20 provides a suitably delimited light beam suitable for lighting sports fields.
