titleOfInvention PENDULUM ACCELEROMETER NOT SERVED WITH RESONANT BEAM
abstract Accelerometer, which can be used when looking for a low price, in particular for ammunition and automobiles, comprises a pendular seismic mass 12 connected to a base 16, an articulation 14 allowing it to debate in the direction of a sensitive axis and a sensor force with resonant beams 12 connecting the mass to the base and provided with vibrating electrodes intended to be coupled to an oscillator and to a frequency measuring circuit. The sensor comprises at least two vibrating beams made of piezoelectric material, fixed at one end to the base 16 provided with electrodes for vibrating at resonant frequency, at least one of the beams 20 being fixed to ground at its end. opposite to the base so that the application of an acceleration along the sensitive axis creates tensile stresses in the beam and being oriented perpendicular to the sensitive axis.
