abstract | The effects of eddy currents during a long TM period are measured in an NMR machine by placing in this machine a probe having a material capable of magnetic resonance having a low spin-spin relaxation time, and by performing a PR reiteration of l 17-19 electromagnetic excitation of a resonance signal in this material and the measurement of the resulting 20-22 de-excitation NMR signal, all the more often times as the period during which the effects of eddy currents are to be taken into account is long. It is shown that this way of proceeding makes it possible to appreciate precisely the corrections to be applied to pulses of gradient 23-24 of real field. |
