The present invention relates to a method and a device for surface treatment, or coating with a film of protective material, of a plant, food or agri-food product, and a coated product obtained by the use of such a process. The product (2) to be treated or coated is passed through at least two immiscible liquids of different densities, namely a treatment or coating liquid and a treatment or coating fixing liquid, without touching or holding the product itself, by gravity, projection or ascent of the product thanks to the Archimedes thrust exerted by the liquids on the product, through the liquids. |
