titleOfInvention Filtering device for sequence estimation equalizer.
abstract The invention takes the form of a filter device for an equalizer (5) with sequence estimation from a truncated impulse response, comprising a filter (4) for processing a sequence of symbols received (SR) by a channel transmission (1) by means of filter coefficients (FC) and to deliver the sequence thus processed to this equalizer (5), a channel estimator (2) also receiving this sequence of received symbols (SR) to produce the impulse response of the transmission channel (1), and is characterized in that it comprises a calculation circuit (3) for calculating the filtering coefficients (FC) from the impulse response (RIC) of the transmission channel (1) of so that the overall impulse response (RIG) of the transmission channel (1) and of the channel filter (4) is at minimum phase, this calculation circuit (3) also delivering a correction signal (C) representing the behavior of the channel transmission (1) followed by the channel filter (4), e t in that it comprises a control circuit (6) for producing this overall impulse response (RIG) to the equalizer (5) from the correction signal (C).
