titleOfInvention | NEW PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF LOW COLORED ALKYLPOLYOSIDES WITH LOW ACID DEGRADATION PRODUCTS CONTENT. |
abstract | The present invention relates to a new process for preparing weakly colored alkylpolyosides and low in acidic degradation products obtained by reaction of a saccharide with an excess fatty alcohol, in the presence of an acid catalyst, followed by neutralization with a base. According to the invention, this base is a tertiary amine of formulas: (CF DRAWING IN BOPI) in which; - m represents an integer between 0 and 5; - R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6 which are identical or different independently represent: an alkyl radical having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms; a hydroxyalkyl or dihydroxyalkyl radical having from 2 to 4 carbon atoms; a phenyl radical; a radical of formula (Cn H2 n -O) x H, in which n is an integer between 2 and 4 and x is an integer between 2 and 5; - R1 R2 taken together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached, which may represent a heterocycle, saturated or not, substituted or not, of 5 to 7 elements and comprising from 1 to 3 heteroatoms chosen from oxygen, nitrogen and sulfur. |
