abstract |
The subject of the present invention is a process for the hydroxylation of phenolic compounds and more particularly, a process for the hydroxylation of phenols and of phenol ethers, with hydrogen peroxide. The invention relates to a process for the hydroxylation of phenolic compounds by means of hydrogen peroxide, said process being characterized by the fact that the reaction is carried out in the presence of an effective amount of a rare earth or bismuth triflate. |
