titleOfInvention PASSIVE ROLLING DAMPING SYSTEM HAVING VEHICLE AXLE DAMPING
abstract This system uses a torsion bar stabilizer mounted oscillating on the body, transverse to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. A first (23) and a second arm (22), forming levers of the system, are essentially parallel and interconnected by a torsionally rigid connecting piece (21). The torsion bar (11), carrying a third lever arm (12), is guided inside or on the connecting piece (21), along the latter, and fixed integral in rotation with this piece in the area of the attachment point of the first arm (23). A roll damper (33) is articulated between the second arm (22) and a coupling rod (31). Applicable to motor vehicles with rigid axles or suspensions with independent wheels.
