The invention relates to a process for the synthesis of a zeolitic material of structural type MTT comprising the mixing in aqueous medium of at least one source of at least one element chosen from silicon and germanium and of at least one source of '' at least one element T chosen from aluminum, iron, gallium, boron, titanium, vanadium, zirconium, molybdenum, arsenic, antimony, chromium and manganese, in the presence of 'at least one precursor of an alkylated derivative of polymethylene alpha-omega diammonium playing the role of structuring. The mixture is generally kept at a certain temperature until the zeolite crystallizes. The invention is characterized in that at least one precursor of the alkylated derivative of polymethylene alpha-omega diammonium is chosen, chosen from monoamines. The present invention also relates to the use of the MTT zeolite as prepared according to the process of the present invention as an adsorbent for pollution control, as a molecular sieve for separation and as an acid solid for catalysis in the fields of refining and petrochemicals. |
