abstract The present invention relates to a method for calculating electromagnetic devices comprising ferromagnetic materials. It finds application in the modeling, design, and control of such devices. It also relates to a device for implementing such a calculation method. In the method of the invention, ferroinductance coefficients are taken into account to model the specific behavior of electric circuits magnetically coupled by ferromagnetic materials in a systematic calculation process based on a discretization of space and a particular resolution of an analysis of functional matrices representative of the geometry of electromagnetic devices and their composite magnetizations.
