Controlled blackout light projector for a motor vehicle, which comprises an optical module (2) capable of delivering a beam of parallel light towards the front of the vehicle, this module being mounted in a support case (9) comprising a mask ( 10) extending the housing towards the front of the module, this beam passing through an opening (12) formed in the mask and, beyond this, a transparent window (11) for closing the housing and protecting the module, characterized in that it comprises, housed in the housing opposite the opening provided in the mask, an intermittent screen (13) interposed in a fixed position on the path of the light beam delivered by the module (2) and clean to obscure or release on demand the optical path of this beam, depending on whether the projector is in use or not. |
