abstract The invention relates to a device for detecting and imaging biocontaminant elements, characterized in that it comprises: - a matrix (M) of detector pixels having an active face on which a light (L) is incident, - a support (H) transparent to the light and which covers the active face, support on which the biocontaminant elements (EC) are likely to be deposited, - lighting means (ME) which produce the light which is incident (L) on the active face, - processing means (T) capable of transforming the signal delivered by the matrix (M) of detector pixels into a digital signal, and - display means (MV) able to display in the form of still images or video images the digital signal delivered by the processing means.
