The invention relates to a method for controlling the operation of a system (10) for post-treating the exhaust gases of an engine by injecting an exhaust reagent, characterized in that the method comprises the steps of: - estimation of the equilibrium pressure at the sensor (20) as a function of the external temperature, - comparison of a pressure measured by the sensor (20) with the equilibrium pressure and the external pressure. The invention further relates to a vehicle adapted for implementing the method. The invention makes it possible to obtain a more complete control of the operation of an exhaust gas after-treatment system. |
