abstract | A cryogenic cooling method and apparatus comprising a main cryocooler (18) having a cold head (19) disposed in a first selectively evacuated chamber (16), a working fluid reservoir (9) disposed in a second chamber (10) selectively evacuated, a member (8) to be cooled being disposed in the reservoir (9) in heat exchange with the working fluid, the head (19) of the cool cryo-cooler (18) main being thermally connected with a heat exchanger heat (17), itself fluidly connected with the reservoir (9) via lines (30, 31) forming a first circulation loop for the working fluid, the lines (30, 31) passing from the first (16) to the second (10) enclosure, characterized in that the selectively vacuum volumes of the first (16) and second (10) enclosures are independent and in that the device comprises a cryo-cooler (1) secondary comprena a cold head (7) disposed in a third chamber (4) selectively evacuated, the cold head (7) of the secondary cryo-cooler (1) being thermally connected with a heat exchanger (2), itself connected fluidically with the reservoir (9) via lines (130, 131) forming a second circulation loop for the working fluid, and in that the selectively evacuated volume of the third chamber (4) is independent of the volumes selectively under vacuum first (16) and second (10) enclosures. |
