abstract The present invention relates to a method for evaluating the state of health of an electrochemical battery comprising the following steps: a) a step of charging the battery, in a first state of aging (EV1), to a first state of charge, followed by a relaxation time T1; b) a step of measuring a first voltage across the battery (UEV1); c) a step of charging the battery, at a second state of aging (EV2), to a second state of charge, followed by a relaxation time T2; d) a step of measuring a second voltage across the battery (UEV2); e) a step of estimation of the state of health of the battery (SOHE), the state of health of the battery being estimated from the difference between the first and second voltages (UEV1, UEV2).
