abstract |
The subject of the invention is a process for the biological treatment of nitrogen in the form of ammonium in the waste water by nitritation in a biological reactor, comprising: at least one stage a of aeration of the biological reactor containing the waste water at treating, at least one step b of removing at least some of the nitrites produced in step a, and one step c of extracting a fraction of the reactor sludge resulting from steps a and b. The invention also relates to a process for the biological treatment of nitrogen in waste water by nitritation-denitritation and/or de-ammonification, in which the nitritation is carried out by the nitritation process according to the invention. |
