titleOfInvention | Capacitor device for isosceles sweep generator |
abstract | 1,036,781. Capacitors. CANADIAN PATENTS & DEVELOPMENT Ltd. April 23, 1963 [Feb. 25, 1963], No. 15898/63. Heading H1M. [Also in Division H3] A capacitor arrangement comprises an insulating fixed member 10 having an annular groove 11 on the surfaces of which are deposited two separated copper coatings 13, 14; a rotor 17 having an annular skirt 18 carrying an electrode 19 which extends substantially 180 degrees around the skirt, an annular electrode 21 on the rotor being connected to the electrode 19; and a second, fixed, annular electrode 26. The electrode 19 mounted on the rotatable skirt comes into capacitive relation with the two electrodes 13, 14 alternately on rotation, while the electrode strips 21 and 26 remain in constant capacitive coupling. The arrangement is used in an isosceles sweep generator (see Division H3). |
