abstract | 1278911 Heat storage units; steam generators SULZER BROS Ltd 12 Jan 1971 [13 Jan 1970] 1493/71 Headings F4A and F4U A heating installation comprises a heat store 2 and a steam/condensate circuit which includes distributing lines 3 and 4, steam headers 6 and 13, a steam cooler 7 and a condenser 8. In operation, superheated steam passes from evaporation ducts 5 into headers 6 and 13 and on into a steam cooler 7 provided with baffles 11. The steam then passes to a condenser 8 to heat a secondary water circuit 10. In the steam cooler 7, the steam flowing to the condenser 8 is saturated by the condensate flowing in countercurrent with it. The heat store 2 is heated by electricity. |
