abstract | 1304792 Metal tubes KABELUND METALLWERKE GUTEHOFFNUNGSHUTTE AG 7 Jan 1971 [8 Jan 1970 11 July 1970] 819/71 Heading F2P A metal pipe is coated with an adhering composition which includes a heat-liquefiable polymer and has a further outer sheath of thermoplastics material. The composition of the first coating in the embodiments described may include viscous polymers, which are liquefiable at temperatures of 50-250‹ C., such as an atactic polybutene, atactic polypropylene or polyisobutylene in combination with natural or synthetic resins, plasticizers, waxes and fillers, applied in the liquid state to form a coating 50-250 microns thick on an aluminium pipe. The thermoplastics sheath may be of PVC. Several pipes, protected against corrosion in such manner, may be assembled into a pipe-bundle cable. |
