abstract | 1348181 Granular urea/aldehyde condensation product FISONS Ltd 11 Aug 1971 [26 March 1971] 7995/71 Heading C1B A granular urea/aldehyde condensation product wherein the particles of the condensation product are bonded together by potassium nitrate and calcium and/or magnesium sulphate, or by potassium chloride and magnesium sulphate, is obtained by tumbling or agitating the particles at a pH of at least 5À5 in the presence of water, potassium sulphate and a reactive salt selected from calcium nitrate, magnesium nitrate and/or magnesium chloride. Calcium and/or magnesium carbonate or ammonia may be used to raise the overall pH to at least 5À5, e.g. when acidic materials such as monoammonium phosphate also are present. |
