1394365 2 - Amino - thiophene derivatives IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 15 Jan 1973 [28 Jan 1972] 4046/72 Heading C2C [Also in Division C4] 2 - Amino - 3 - cyano - 4 - methyl - 5 - ethoxycarbonylthiophene is obtained by heating together ethylacetoacetate, malonodinitrile, sulphur, triethylamine in methanol. 2 - Amino - 3 - methoxycarbonyl - 4 : 5- dimethylthiophene is obtained by heating together methyl ethyl ketone, ethyl cyanoacetate, sulphur and triethylamine in methanol. 2 - Amino - 3 - carbethoxy - 5 - bromothiophene is obtained by brominating 2-amino-3- carbethoxythiophene in acetic acid. 2-Amino-3- carbethoxy-5-chlorothiophene is prepared analogously. 2 - Amino - 3 - carboethoxy - 4 - methyl - 5- cyanothiophene is obtained by simultaneous deacetylation and transesterification of 2- acetylamino - 3 - carbethoxy - 4 - methyl - 5- cyanothiophene. 2 - Amino - 3 - benzoyl - 5 - nitrothiophene is obtained by acetylating 2-amino-3-benzoylthiophene, nitrating, and then deacetylating. |
