The course of the reaction is followed by measurement with a photo-multiple 13 of light from lamp 11 transmitted through the curvettes. The determination of glucose in blood serum in the above apparatus is described using a reagent containing NADP (nicotineamide adernine dinucleotide phosphate), hexokinase, glucose-6- phosphate dehydrogenase and MgSO 4 in a triethonolamine buffer at pH 7À5. The resulting reduction of NADP is followed at a wavelength of 340 nm. |
