| abstract | 1443381 Moulding hammers CES Inc 22 March 1974 [7 May 1973] 12973/74 Headings B4C and B5A A hammer comprises a skeletal indent member having a head portion 14 and a handle 18 the handle having mechanical locking means to prevent twisting relative to the head, the whole being encased in an elastomeric casing such as urethane. The head comprises a cylinder with concave end caps and containing silicon coated lead shot. The skeletal handle may be formed of two spaced flat strips wrapped around the skeletal head with locating members 28, 30 of urethane to locate the handle in the mould. Alternatively the handle may be a round section rod with a flat strip secured thereto by welding to provide the locking means the round rod having holes therein to take removable locating pins 62, 64 during moulding. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,364,295. |
