abstract | 1475048 Trichloroethylidene bis(carbonimidoyldichloride) BAYER AG 9 Oct 1975 [30 Oct 1974] 41440/75 Heading C2C The novel compound N,N<SP>1</SP>-2,2,2-trichloroethylidene - bis - (carbonimidoyldichloride) of formula CCl 3 CH(N = CCl 2 ) 2 is prepared by reacting N,N<SP>1</SP> - 2,2,2 - trichloroethylidenebisformamide, CCl 3 CH(NHCHO) 2 with an acid chloride in the presence of a diluent at 0-150 C., and simultaneously or subsequently reacting with excess chlorine. Excess acid chloride may be used as diluent. Inorganic and organic acid chlorides are specified. The product is used as a pesticide. |
