The salts of formula II, in which R represents an aliphatic, cyclohexyl or benzyl radical, A represents an aliphatic or xylylidene radical and X<(+)> represents an anion, are prepared by reacting an amine R-NH2 with a dihalide Hal-A-Hal and with a methylating agent. The salts thus obtained have antibacterial and antifungal properties and can be used in chemotherapy as well as in cosmetology, especially in hair and deodorant compositions. <IMAGE> |
