The supporter, which is of elastic bandage type, has an elastic main body 4 of tubular shape and, adhered to at least a portion thereof, a reinforcing member 8 formed by laminating an interlining having a modulus larger than that of the main body to a surface member of low elasticity for restricting elongation of the interlining, the reinforcing member 8 having a modulus such as to restrict movement of the affected part. The interlining may be an elastic non-woven or textile fabric, a foam or a polyurethane film and the surface member may be a woven, non-woven or tricot fabric. The supporter may be used on the knee, foot/ankle, elbow or hand/wrist. <IMAGE> |
