| abstract | A bottle mounting arrangement is disclosed in which a bottle is provided with vertically spaced protrusions on the cylindrical portion, forming part of a helix. The helix arrangement is arranged to screw into a bottle embracing structure forming part of a mounting bracket, said structure having a rib adapted to completely circumscribe the cylindrical portion of the bottle, the rib being helical and engaged between vertically spaced protrusions on the cylindrical portion of the bottle. In addition, the mounting bracket is formed with a hook formation, whereby it can be suspended from an upstanding part of a structure, such as the wall of a tank. The arrangement is particularly suitable for use as animal water supply bottles for use with tanks, rather than cages. Alternatively, the mounting arrangement has many other applications, such as the mounting of bottles of spirits in an inverted position behind a bar. <IMAGE> |
