abstract |
Urea-containing fertilizer containing at least one urease inhibitor comprising metal nitrate. The fertilizer contains ferric nitrate and/or aluminium nitrate-urea complexes or the fertilizer contains both ferric nitrate and urea or aluminium nitrate and urea. The fertilizer may be in the form of a liquid urea-ammonium nitrate solution or slurry. The molar ratio ferric nitrate-urea complex : urea in said fertilizer should be in the range of 1:1 to 1:15 and the molar ratio aluminium nitrate-urea complex : urea should be in the range of 1:1 to 1:18. |
