A fuel cell system comprises a fuel cell stack (2) and at least one electrical energy storage device (7) which is electrically connectible with and disconnectible from the stack by at least one electronic switching element (8) which is based, for example, on a MOSFET. The switching element (8) is in thermally conductive contact with the cooling circuit, for example, by mounting of the switching element on an end plate of the stack. |
