A method and/or apparatus 100 for measuring fluid flow properties of a multiphase fluid stream 105 flowing in a pipeline 110 comprising means for sampling, with a sampling probe 120, a portion of the fluid stream 105; means p, T, Dp for measuring a differential pressure between a first pressure of the fluid stream 105 in the pipeline 110 and a second pressure of the portion of the fluid stream 105 in the sampling probe 120; means 131 for controlling the flow rate of the sampled portion 122, wherein the flow rate of the sampled portion 122 id controlled to provide for nullification of the differential pressure in order to obtain substantially isokinetic sampling of the fluid stream. The flow property measurements are processed to determine the flow properties of the multiphase fluid stream 105 flowing in the pipeline, wherein the above elements do not require, or are performed without the determination of the density of fluid in the fluid stream through nuclear radiation methods. |
