titleOfInvention Extensible cleaner hose with solution tube
abstract A cleaning apparatus (60) for cleaning a surface in which cleaning solution is dispensed to the surface and substantially simultaneously extracted along with the dirt on the surface (74) in a continuous operation is provided. The cleaning apparatus (60) includes a base portion (64) for movement along the surface and a handle (62) pivotally connected to the base portion (64). A solution tank (76) for supplying a flow of cleaning solution to the surface (74) is removably mounted to the handle (62). A recovery tank (80) is removably mounted to the handle (62). A suction nozzle (174) is secured to the base portion (64) and in fluid communication with the recovery tank (80). A suction source is in fluid communication with the suction nozzle (174) for generating suction to draw dirt and liquid through the suction nozzle (174) and into the recovery tank (80). An accessory assembly 632 including a hose portion 800 and a solution tube 496 are provided. The maximum length of the hose assembly 800 is at least 25% greater than the minimum length of the accessory assembly 632. The solution tube 496 is coiled within the hose.
