The body of the foot bed 20 is formed with one or more voids V1, V5, V6, V7, V8, V9, which, in use, remove support from at least part of the medial longitudinal arch region 14b of a foot resting on the foot bed 20, thereby to reduce pronation during standing or whilst walking.
