A foot bed 20, suitable for supporting a person s foot, comprises a body with an upper surface 24 providing foot support areas for supporting at least part of the heel 12a, 12b, part of the big toe 18a or hallux, and the first 16a and at least part of the fifth 16c metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joints of a foot. The body of the foot bed 20 is formed with one or more voids V1, V5, V6, V7, V8, V9, which, in use, remove support from at least part of the medial longitudinal arch region 14b of a foot resting on the foot bed 20, thereby to reduce pronation during standing or whilst walking. |
