titleOfInvention A method of producing moisture-resisting calcium nitrate
abstract Moisture resisting calcium nitrate is formed by shaping the salt into small spherical granules and coating them with kieselguhr in the form of a dry powder. In the preferred method of granulating, a concentrated solution of calcium nitrate is sprayed into air by high-speed rotating discs.ALSO:Moisture resisting calcium nitrate fertilizer is prepared by forming spherical granules of calcium nitrate by spraying in air such as by high speed rotating discs dipping into a concentrated solution, and coating the resulting granules with kieselguhr in the form of a powder. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also a fertilizer prepared by spraying a solution of calcium nitrate admixed with 5 per cent ammonium nitrate and containing not more than 12 per cent of water. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
