abstract A corrosion-resistant alloy consists of Mo 0.2-10 per cent, U, the remainder. The alloy is preferably prepared by melting the constituents out of contact with air in a thoria crucible at 1150-1400 DEG C. and may be annealed, e.g. at 700-800 DEG C. for 4 hours.
