A seal arrangement for sealing a hose reel rotatably mounted on a hollow shaft 3 adapted to serve as a water supply guide, comprises a sealing washer 24 rotatable with the reel in a substantially water-tight manner relative to the shaft, and a bush 32 at the end of the shaft, the bush carrying the washer rotatably and that part of the bush in contact with the washer being of corrosion resistant material. As shown, a water-supply hose 17 is connected to the shaft by a clamping cone 20<SP>1</SP> of a plastic material; the cone may be threaded. Alternatively, the bush is provided externally of the shaft. |
