The present invention relates to a method for controlling harmful fungi, which comprises treating fungi or substances, plants, soil or seeds to be protected against fungal infection with a bisoxime of the formula (I) - in which R1 is halogen, alkyl or haloalkyl; R2 is cyano, nitro, halogen, alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxy, haloalkoxy, alkylthio, alkylamino, dialkylamino, alkylaminocarbonyl, optionally substituted phenyl, phenoxy or phenylthio; n = 0, 1, 2 or 3; R3 is treated with an effective amount of an alkyl, haloalkyl, alkenyl, haloalkenyl, alkynyl, haloalkynyl or phenylalkyl group - or a salt or adduct thereof, and the use of the compounds of formula (I) against harmful fungi for the production of a control agent.
