The present invention relates to fluoroquinolone derivatives of the new oxazolidinone compounds of formula I, their pharmaceutically acceptable salts or solvates, or their geometric or optical isomers, or mixtures or polymorphic forms of any of the isomers. R1 is an organic group; R 2 is hydrogen, C 1-4 alkyl or phenyl; R3 is hydrogen, halogen, C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 alkoxy or amino; R4 is hydrogen or halogen; R5 is an organic group; Meaning is an organic group; W is a 4-, 5-, 6-, 7-, or 8-membered heterocyclic ring containing one or more nitrogen atoms.
