abstract | The present invention relates to a method for protecting a propagulum or a plant invertebrate from it, wherein the site of the propagulum or propagulum is a compound of formula I, wherein A and B are independently oxygen or sulfur, R1 is hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxycarbonyl or alkylcarbonyl. ; R2 is hydrogen or alkyl; R3 is hydrogen, alkyl alkenyl, alkynyl or cycloalkyl, each optionally substituted with one or more substituents, namely halogen, cyano, nitro, hydroxyl, alkyl, alkoxy, haloalkoxy, alkylthio, alkylsulfinyl, alkylsulfonyl, alkoxycarbonyl substituted with alkylcarbonyl, trialkylsilyl, phenyl, phenoxy, 5-membered heteroaromatic rings or 6-membered heteroaromatic rings, wherein the phenyl group, the phenoxy group, the 5-membered heteroaromatic ring and the 6-membered heteroaromatic ring are each optionally independently 1 and 3-way substituents, namely halogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, haloalkyl, haloalkenyl, haloalkinyl, halo-cycloalkyl, cyano, nitro, alkoxy, haloalkoxy, alkylthio, alkylsulfinyl, alkylthio, alkylsulfinyl, alkyl alkylsulfonyl, alkylamino, dialkylamino, cycloalkylamino, (alkyl) (cycloalkyl) amino, alkylcarbonyl, alkoxycarbonyl, alkylaminocarbonyl, dialkylamines substituted with arbonyl or trialkylsilyl; or alkoxy; alkylamino, and dialkylamino; cycloalkylamino; -alkoxycarbonyl; or alkylcarbonyl; R4 is hydrogen or halogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, haloalkyl, cyano, alkoxy, haloalkoxy or nitro; R5 is hydrogen or halogen, alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, hydroxyalkyl, alkoxy, haloalkoxy, -C (O) R10, -CO2R10, -C (O) NR10R11, -NR10R11, -N (R11) ) C (O) R10, -N (R11) CO2R10 or -S (O) nR12; R6 is hydrogen, halo, alkyl, haloalkyl, cyano, alkoxy or haloalkoxy; R7 is alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, haloalkyl, haloalkenyl, haloalkynyl or halocycloalkyl or R7 is phenyl, benzyl, 5- or 6-membered heteroaromatic ring, naphthyl ring system or 8, 9 or 10 a fused aromatic heterobicyclic ring system, wherein each ring or ring system is optionally substituted with 1 to 3 substituents; or contacting a biologically effective amount of an N-oxide or an agriculturally applicable salt of said compound.
