abstract | The present invention relates to a polymer deposition inhibitor for the polymerization of unsaturated monomers containing an ethylene double bond, which is an alkaline solution containing a self-condensation product having a molecular weight of 400 to 50,000 formed from a single quinone compound (A). The antifouling agent is applied to the inner surface of the polymerization reactor by the process of the present invention and formed by coating drying.
