titleOfInvention | Process and apparatus for performing analyses in the organic chemistry field |
abstract | 1395481 Enzymatic determinations SNAMPROGETTI SpA 27 April 1972 [28 April 1971] 19722/72 Heading G1B [Also in Division C3] A process for determining an organic compound enzymatically convertable into one or more other compounds comprises passing the sample through a reaction zone in which is present a polymeric filament having the enzyme distributed in it, and made for example by the process of Specification 1224947, and determining at least one of the one or more other compounds. The reaction zone may be in the form of a glass Y-shaped tube which may be included in automatic analysis apparatus. In a related process for the determination of an enzyme inhibitor or activator compound, the sample being tested together with a substrate for the enzyme is passed through a reaction zone containing the enzyme. Examples relate to determinations of glucose, lactose, uric acid, lactate, urea, L-arginine, L-serine, cortisone. A series of reaction zones containing different enzymes may be used.n[GB1395481A] |
