abstract (57) Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a partially plated plastic which can print a predetermined pattern such as any number, character, symbol, etc., and which can produce a bright metal-plated plastic molded article having excellent decorativeness at a low cost. An object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a molded article. An electroless Cu plating layer and an electroless Ni plating layer are formed on a surface of an ABS resin molded body having a predetermined shape. After sequentially forming the electrolytic Au plating layer 24, the printed portion 25 is formed by irradiating a laser beam and processing it into a predetermined pattern.
