titleOfInvention | Process for producing alkyl-substituted cyclopentadienes |
abstract | (57) Abstract: A process for producing an alkyl-substituted cyclopentene diene according to the present invention comprises producing an alkyl-substituted cyclopentane diene from an alkyl cyclopentenone and an alkyl clarignant reagent. A reaction mixture of an alkylcyclopentenone having a linear or branched alkyl group mono- or tri-substituted and a specific alkyl clarinal reagent is mixed with an aqueous solution containing an acidic slurry agent to form a slurry liquid, It is characterized in that an acid catalyst is added to the slurry liquid for dehydration. As the acidic slurry agent, a phosphate compound such as NaH 2 PO 4 or a mixture thereof is used. As the acid catalyst, a strongly acidic inorganic acid such as hydrochloric acid or sulfuric acid, or an organic acid such as kiodic acid is used. According to the present invention, in the post-treatment of the Grignard reaction (acidification / dehydration reaction step with an acid), the desired product is obtained without a sudden heat generation or solid precipitation that makes stirring difficult. Can be obtained in a high yield. |
