abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrophilic graft polymer in which the coloring of the polymer is small and the residual monomer is reduced. Further, the present invention provides a method for producing a hydrophilic graft polymer in which the coloring of the polymer is small and the residual monomer is reduced. SOLUTION: A polyalkylene glycol has 10 to 90 mol% of a monoethylenically unsaturated monocarboxylic acid, 10 to 90 mol% of a monoethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid and 0 to 80 m of another copolymerizable monoethylenically unsaturated monomer. ol% of the hydrophilic graft polymer obtained by graft polymerization of the monomer component, the content of the monoethylenically unsaturated monocarboxylic acid is 900 ppm or less; A weight-% aqueous solution having a hue (b value) of 10 or less is obtained by polymerization, and a hydrophilic graft polymer obtained by graft-polymerizing a monomer component to polyalkylene glycol is obtained by polymerization. And then subjecting to post-treatment in the presence of an additive in the form of an aqueous solution of the polymer. |
