titleOfInvention Dual band antenna
abstract (57) [Summary] A dual band antenna having a simple and compact structure is provided. The dual band antenna includes an inductor, first and second rod-shaped radiating elements connected to both ends of the inductor, and a coupling portion of the inductor and first and second radiating elements connected to both ends of the inductor. Surrounding dielectric material. A conductive housing surrounds the dielectric material and supports the inductor with a coupling portion of the first and second radiating elements. The housing and the dielectric material form a capacitance so that an LC resonance circuit is formed together with the inductor. The LC resonant circuit is designed such that only one radiating element radiates in the high band of the dual operating band and both radiating elements radiate in the low band.
