abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a unit-type suction bell mouth capable of reducing a pump load and a thrust load, taking measures against eddies, and suppressing vibration. SOLUTION: A straightening plate 15 for supporting a pump load is attached to a lower side of a suction bell mouth casing 11 to form a unit, and a thrust bearing 29 for supporting a shaft 73 of a pump impeller 70 is provided at the center thereof. Nozzle 1 on current plate 15 A fluid supply mechanism having a structure for ejecting a fluid (for example, air) from 5a is provided.
