titleOfInvention | Multicolor thermal recording material |
abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a multicolor heat-sensitive recording material capable of printing a tint block with less density fluctuation and excellent in light resistance and heat resistance regardless of the fluctuation of the thermal recording apparatus. SOLUTION: A first electron-donating dye precursor encapsulated in a microcapsule, and a color tone which is located outside the microcapsule and which is different from a color tone when the first electron-donating dye precursor develops a color. A heat-sensitive recording layer containing a second electron-donating dye precursor that develops a color and two or more electron-accepting compounds that cause the first and second electron-donating dye precursors to develop color when heated. The multicolor thermosensitive recording material provided above, wherein at least one of the electron-accepting compounds is a salicylic acid derivative. |
