abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide a rock tunnel excavator that can secure a wide space inside a main body and easily control direction. SOLUTION: A pair of outer cylinders 20 are provided on the left and right sides of a rear trunk shell 14, and a front end of the outer cylinder 20 has a rear grip shoe 21a. The inner cylinder 21 to be expanded and contracted was attached. A stopper 22 for the inner cylinder 21 is provided inside the outer cylinder 20. A bracket 23 is provided on the upper part of the outer cylinder 20 inside the rear torso shell 14, and the link A 25 were joined with pins 24. The other end of the link A25 was connected to the opposite link A25 via a pin 34 by a hydraulic jack 13 for gripper expansion and contraction. One end of the link B26 is connected to an intermediate portion of the link A25 by a pin 27, and the other end is formed as a slider structure 28 so that it can slide vertically inside the rear grip shoe 21a.
